I charge by the pattern, not by the hour. I’ve a set price for almost any kind of pattern. So my price for a plain, simple jacket with little detail is the same as a double-breasted tuxedo jacket with four pockets and three back-vents. I’ve customers all over the country, most of whom I’ve never met, who send me designs, sometimes garments to copy, who know, within a few quid, what their final invoice will be. The only thing I can’t control is the cost of postage which is added onto the end. Prices are for both men's and women's where appropriate.
